Everyone and their dog are different. You want a trainer who can communicate with your best friend in the best way possible. Every breed is different, and every dog within that breed is different.
This works. And it always works. You and your dog will learn to communicate with a language that both of you understand— and can even enjoy speaking!
You want your dog to be the happiest, healthiest version of themselves— and food is a huge part of that process. Every dog needs something different, from combatting low energy, to cranky attitudes, to uncontrollable stress.
The best, most comfortable collars, leashes, cooling vests, jackets, and other accessories make sure that your dog is in the best spirits at all times, and adorable the whole time!
Your dog will never wonder what you need from them, and you’ll never struggle to tell them what they should be doing— without making them nervous or scared of you. No confusion means the good times never stop— commands are done right the first time.
Dogs don’t put their emotions out the same way we do, and it can be frustrating for them and you. Knowing what your dog is expressing is part of your job of being their friend— and a good education on how to know can go a long way toward a peaceful, happy household.
Gold is all about getting down the basics. Making sure that you and your dog are on the same team, and giving you a solid foundation to work from.
During Gold, your dog will learn:
Come
Perfect recall (that means coming to you, because next to you is your dog’s new default), the moment you say it.
Sit
This means when and where you said— not anywhere else, to keep your dog safe.
Down
Again, when and where you said. No more tripping over the dog in the kitchen!
Loose Leash Walk
Your arm can take a break! Exploring and sniffing is something you do as a team, rather than a one dog show.
This is the next step. It includes a whole lot more of the complex tasks, and polishing your interactions with your dog. This is what makes you a true team.
During Platinum, your dog will learn:
Everything in Gold and
Heel
Your dog follows perfectly on your leg. When you stop, your dog stops, when you turn, your dog turns. It’s close to dancing.
Place
Give your dog an outpost, a specific location that you indicate where they can calmly observe, wait, or rest.
Community Access
Make sure that your dog is able to have a calm, respectful time in public— unbothered and in their element. This makes walking in public fun and relaxing for you, your dog, and everyone around you.
A service dog is a personal K-9, specifically trained to do tasks to help you in your day to day life. This is not to be taken lightly. Your dog will be licensed to go where you go, do what you do. Your furry friend is now an integral aspect of you living your best life. This is complex, and will require careful understanding of your unique needs.
